Welcome to my website: Navigator For Cancer.

I’m really happy you’re here.

This website is a passion project for me. It’s something I’m doing in my spare time, when I’m not working my full-time job as a Director of SEM for a small digital marketing agency or spending time with my family: my beautiful wife Jess and my two daughters M and P.

I created this site to be a resource for cancer patients and caretakers. I found that during my own cancer journey the role of a nurse navigator was incredibly helpful for me.

To me, a role of a nurse navigator is to communicate with cancer patients, to provide resources to help answer questions or provide guidance, and to be a support line when things come up.

I wanted to bridge this gap online, and provide some support and information for people who may be searching and looking for answers.

There are already a ton of terrific resources on the web. I’m talking national organizations such as The American Cancer Society, The National Cancer Institute, and a whole lot more I’m failing to mention or link to.

There are also tons of cancer-specific resources out there. Ones like The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (one that I’m very active in due to having a blood cancer myself) and BreastCancer.org and, again, a whole bunch I’m failing to mention and link to.

What this website’s goal is to present information in a clear way. One that provides a community, where people can comment on any and all posts, ask questions, can chat on social media platforms like Facebook (like the Facebook page!) or Twitter (follow our Twitter account!).

We even have a podcast where I’ll be supplying in-depth information about topics and looking to interview medical professionals and even community members to share their stories or experiences.

This is the start to something great. I hope you can find some useful information. Let me know if you have any questions, comments or feedback by filling in the contact form.
